Thin Mint Frappuccino #Choctoberfest

*Disclosure: I received products to sample from Barlean’s.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Today I have another recipe for #Choctoberfest with Imperial Sugar (don’t miss all of the sponsor details and giveaway).

If you’ve followed by blog for any amount of time, you’ve noticed that not only so I have a thing for protein shakes, but that I also have a tendency to junk them up into dessert for breakfast Frappuccino creations (Cookie Crumble, S’mores, and Muddy Buddy Protein shakes have all occurred on a regular basis).  But they totally have protein powder so it’s totally a thing!

Today’s recipe is sponsored by Barlean’s.  Barlean’s provides customers with quality dietary supplements.  They strive to meet or exceed expectation and constantly improve and innovate with their line.

So when Barlean’s sent out Chocolate Mint Omega Swirl, I knew I had another amazing breakfast Frappuccino on my hands.  I love chocolate and mint (Cheesecake & Pie spring to mind), so it was easy to take those flavors and fly!

This is easily one of my new favorite morning shakes!  One word of note: the flavors can be a bit intense at first. If the flavor us too strong, I recommend adding just a bit of sugar (noted in the recipe) or starting with half the amount of the Omega Swirl and Silk Greens and gradually working up to the full amount.

Thin Mint Frappuccino

1 cup ice
1 ¼ cup skim milk
1 tbsp instant coffee
1 scoop vanilla protein powder, such as Just Hemp
1 tbsp Chocolate Mint Omega-3 supplement, such as Barlean’s Essential WomanOmega Swirl
1 scoop chocolate antioxidant powder, such a Barlean’s Chocolate Silk Greens
2 chocolate mint cookies, such as thin mints or grasshoppers
1 tsp sugar, such as Imperial Sugar, optional

Place all of the ingredients into a blender.  Blend until smooth.  Pour into a tall glass and top with crumbled cookie bits and an additional drizzle of Omega Swirl.
