Foodies Read 2016

Everyone around here knows I love to cook (duh) and that I love to read (you’ve been reading those book posts, right?).

So I decided to join a new book club this year: Foodies Read 2016.

In this one, you pick your own books, fiction, nonfiction, cookbooks – anything as long as food is a major part of the plot! 

I’m sold!

Plus, participants can decide how much they want to commit to.  Here are the challenge levels:

Short-Order Cook: 1 to 3 books
Pastry Chef: 4 to 8 books
Sous-Chef: 9 to 13 books
Chef de Cuisine: 14 to 18
Cordon-Bleu Chef: More than 19

My goal this year is Sous-Chef.  I want to try to read 1 foodie book a month (in addition to my ever expanding to-read list).
