Salted Caramel Pretzel Chocolate Cake Mix Cookies

Can a person have too many cookie recipes?

No.  No, I don’t think so.

Especially when they’re mega easy and involve chocolate and salted caramel.

There’s really no down side to these cookies.  Come on, you deserve a cookies today, right?

Salted Caramel Pretzel Chocolate Cake Mix Cookies

1 box chocolate cake mix
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
2 eggs
1 cup broken pretzels
1 cup chocolate chips
2 tbsp salted caramel sauce
Coarse sea salt

Preheat the oven to 350 and line baking sheets with silicone mats or parchment paper.

Place the cake mix, butter, and eggs into the bowl of a stand mixer.  Mix until smooth.

Stir in the pretzels, chocolate chips, and caramel sauce, leaving a few streaks of caramel, if desired.

Use a 2 tablespoon scoop to drop the dough onto the prepared mats.  Bake for 7-9 minutes or until the tops of the cookies are set.  Remove from the oven and sprinkle lightly with sea salt.  Cool for 5 minutes on trays, when move to wire racks to cool completely.


  1. definitely no such thing as too many cookies! esp when they involve pretzels, caramel, AND chocolate!!
