Do you every invite people
over and then wish you hadn’t?
Hubs & I invited people
over the other day, but a week later when people were supposed to come over I
was So. Not. In. The. Mood.
But since I had committed to
having people at my house (with fabulous appetizers automatically assumed) I
knew I had to suck it up and get to work.
But because I was so not in
the mood, I decided to give myself a break and make an easy cheater queso. And our guests didn’t even know the
difference…just be sure to recycle the cans before people arrive!
Easy Chili con Queso
Inspired by Baked Bree
2 (18 oz) cans Progresso
creamy 3 cheese cooking sauce (*note, may come in packets instead of cans)
1 (15 oz) can Hormel beanless
chili
1 (16 oz) can refried beans
1 (4.5 oz) can hot diced
green chilis
½ cup salsa
Combine all ingredients in a
medium saucepan. Heat through and serve
hot.
