How cute is this football cake?
This was a smash cake for a little boy’s 1st birthday, which just happened to be on Superbowl Sunday!
What a fun way to celebrate both occasions!
The cake was a vanilla cake baked in an oval pan. After baking, the cake was frozen and then trimmed to a football shape. Finally, chocolate frosting was added with just a small amount of detailing with white buttercream!
