One of my good friends from
the gym works in an office where they celebrate each coworker’s birthday by
drawing names. The person who draws the
name is in charge of bringing a cake on that person’s special day.
The person my friend drew is
known for enjoying a small Rice Krispies Treat with lunch every day.
My friend asked me to make a
giant pan of rice krispie treats and then decorate them to look like a package
of rice krispie treats! Too fun!
For this “cake” I used double
recipe for rice krispies treats (it’s found on the Jet Puffed Marshmallow
packaging) pressed into a 9x13 pan, covered it with a small layer of buttercream (just to smooth out
the bumps) and then added all the packaging details with MM fondant!
