It’s almost Star Wars Day, so it’s time to share another fun Star Wars themed meal.
Wookiee Cookies: A Star Wars Cookbook by Robin Davis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is a great little cookbook for Star Wars fans young and old.
The featured recipes are mostly regular recipes with cute Star Wars names and styling.
I made my own adjustments to most the recipes I made from the cookbook, but did love the Star Wars inspiration!

These are essentially pigs in blankets (crescent rolls and hot dogs - yes my hot dogs are red - they’re a childhood guilty pleasure and I don’t care about the red dye since I don’t serve hot dogs often), but they’re share differently and tipped on their ends to resemble Tie Fighters.
And then they’re served with “Boba-Q” Chips and Endor trees, just for fun!
Tie Fighter Dogs
Adapted from Wookie Cookies
1 can refrigerated crescent roll sheets
1 package hot dogs
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment or silicone mats.
Unroll the crescent rolls and cut into strips.
Cut the hot dogs in half. Stand the hot dog halves up. Take 2 strips of crescent rolls and wrap them around the bottom of the hot dogs. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the breading is browned.
To serve, tip the hot dogs on their sides, the bottoms should resemble a tie fighter.
