Today’s Sunday Funday is all about beans!
Beans are such a great protein source! Since it's summertime and all the BBQs, I decided to go ahead and try my hand at baked beans.
Now let’s be honest…these aren’t actually baked, but they are just like the ones you find canned in grocery stores around the US.
Though not quite as quick as simply heating up a canned of seasoned beans, this one does rely on unseasoned canned navy beans to start, then layers of fantastic flavor are added as it simmers on the stovetop…or you could cook bake them in a dutch oven for a bit and truly have baked beans!
