This year, one of my co-workers asked me to make a birthday cake for her daughter. Her daughter is in cheer and wanted a cheer themed cake with black, white and hot pink.
I decided simple was best. The cake is red velvet (as requested by the birthday girl). Then I decorated simply with white buttercream. I cut a cheerleader silhouette out of black fondant and then garnish with sprinkles and borders.
The birthday girl was thrilled! Sometimes simple is best!
