4 Ingredient Slow Cooker Roast

Did you know that meat is super hard to photograph?  Yep, it looks great on the plate, but then looks like a mess on camera.  Though in all honesty, my meat carving skills could probably use some work, too.

I actually ended up photographing this roast on a whim.  This is my go to roast recipe and it is so ridiculously easy that I just never thought to share it before.  Then I realized that people like easy recipes, so I thought I’d put it out there.  Plus, its super delicious and a total crowd pleaser.  Enjoy!

4 Ingredient Slow Cooker Roast

2-3 lb beef roast
1 (10 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
8 oz (¾ can) Coke or Pepsi
1 (1 oz) envelope dry onion soup/dip mix

Place the roast in the slow cooker.  Whisk together the condensed soup and Coke.  Pour the Coke mixture over the roast.  Sprinkle the onion soup/dip powder over the exposed sides and top of the roast, letting the excess fall into the liquid.  Cook on low for 8-10 hours, slice and serve.

  1. Very nice! I need a new crockpot because the one I have is weird and doesn't have like low, med, high settings, it has temperatures and there's never an option that's low enough! *sigh*
