Cadbury Egg & Peeps S’mores

When I was growing up, my dad LOVED Peeps.  He would always get a big ‘ol box of Peeps in his basket every Easter.  He was the only one in our family who liked the things, so he got to enjoy the entire box himself.

I’m still not a huge Peep fan, but when I saw Peeps being made into s’mores, I know I had to get on board.  But why stop with Peeps?  Instead of a chocolate bar, let’s get a Cabury Egg in there!  Now THAT’S an Easter S’more!

Cadbury Egg & Peeps S’mores
An Amy’s Cooking Adventures Original Recipe

2 PEEPS Chocolate Dipped Marshmallow Chicks
1 Cadbury Chocolate Crème Egg, cut in half
2 graham crackers, broken into halves

Put all of the cracker halves onto a microwave safe place.  Cover two of the graham cracker halves with Peeps.  Place each Cadbury Egg half, cut side down, onto the remaining cracker halves.

Microwave the s’more parts for 15-20 seconds or until the Peeps puff up and the chocolate softens.

Press down lightly on the warmed eggs with the flat end of a knife to crush.  Flip the cracker with the peep onto the cracker with the egg to make the s’more.  Enjoy immediately.

Makes 2 s’mores
