Mini Deep Dish Pizzas

Last week, both of my boys got colds.  Not a big deal, but it meant that the housework was neglected and I had very little time for meal preparation, since I was soothing runny noses and giving lots of cuddles.

On days like these quick, easy, and kid friendly rule.  Made in less than 30 minutes, these mini pizzas were a hit.

Recipe Notes:
*Add as many or few toppings as you’d like or let each family member customize a few mini pizzas.
*These would also make an excellent appetizer on game day!

Mini Deep Dish Pizzas
Adapted from Dashing Dish

1 tube of refrigerated crescent rolls
¼ cup pizza sauce
1 cup mozzarella cheese

Desired toppings such as:
Turkey Pepperoni, cut in quarters
Mushrooms, diced
Bell peppers, diced

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.

Press together the perforations of the crescent rolls.  Cut each rectangular section into three pieces.  Press each piece into a cup of the muffin tin.

Spread a little sauce on top of each crust.  Top each with a little cheese and toppings.  Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.  Run a knife around the edge of each mini pizza and remove from the muffin tin.

Makes 12 mini pizzas

Enjoy!
