Kitty Cake

 

Last month, a co-worker of mine asked me if I could do a rush cake order (she asked on Wednesday for a Friday pickup) for her granddaughter’s birthday. I had some time, so I agreed.  The only direction I got was “she likes purple”. The rest was up to me.

I could have kept things simple and frosted a cake purple, but I’m me and needed to do more.

So I made the purple cake into a kitty and the 5-year-old birthday girl loved it!
