This past spring, Dude (14) decided he wanted to build muscle. I suggested he lift weights and up his protein, so we created a tasty frappe/shake that he enjoys in the morning on his way to school!
With the hint of chocolate from the syrup and the PB2, this frappe tastes just like a peanut butter cup, only better for you!
Dude’s Morning Protein Frappe
1 ¼ cup ice
1 cup milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (about 2 tablespoons)
1 tablespoon PB2 (powdered peanut butter)
2 teaspoons instant coffee
1 tablespoon Hershey Syrup
Place all ingredients in a blend. Blend until smooth and serve.
